3 - Stare at a Flame

If meditation is not yet an activity you partake in, I highly recommend it. It’s one of the things that’s made the biggest difference for my mental health and overall wellbeing. However, if you haven’t done it before, a good way to start is by lighting a candle and staring at the flame for a few minutes. It’s a foolproof way to come back to the present (especially good if you’re an anxious type!), because your mind can’t help but get quiet when staring at fire.
